We have been waiting for the 2019 Cartier competition to start and now applications open June 12.
The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are an international business plan competition created by Cartier, INSEAD Business School, McKinsey & Company to identify, support and encourage projects led by women entrepreneurs.
Prizes include US$100,00, INSEAD Entrepreneurship Programme Scholarship, personalised mentoring and media visibility.

For female founders, Asia takes 4 of the top 10 slots for female founders in startup ecosystems: No. 3 Kuala Lumpur, No. 4 Shanghai, No.7 Sydney, No. 10 Busan. Hong Kong comes in at No.31.

After investing in 34 startups over the past 5 years, Serena Williams has launched Serena Ventures which will focus on companies founded by women and minorities. We love that she is already living the message with “60% of Williams’ investments so far have gone to companies led by women or people of color”.
